Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Eligible for: Full reimbursement excluding handling charges

Processing Time: 5-7 business days

Processing Fee: €50 for credit card transactions

Conditions: Must be solicited via written correspondence through email or phone communication

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half of the total rental fee

Processing Time: 7-10 business days

Processing Fee: €25 subtracted from the reimbursement amount

Conditions: Credible justification needed; administrative expenditures incurred

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Eligible for: Reimbursement is not available

Exception: Consideration for unexpected circumstances

Alternative: Rental credit may be provided at the discretion of the management

Conditions: Supporting documents needed for claims concerning emergencies

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Primacy is given to safety. If our certified captain determines that weather conditions pose a danger to chartering activities, we offer various options:

  • Full Refund: Issued in full if changing the date is not feasible
  • Reschedule: Adjust your booking to a new date without any extra charges
  • Charter Credit: Get a voucher valid for 12 months from the initial rental date

Weather Assessment Process

We consider the following in our weather assessment:

  • Examination of wind speed and directions
  • Observation of wave scale and oceanic circumstances
  • Predictions on visibility and rainfall
  • Advisories and cautions from Coast Guard
  • Captain's judgment based on safety protocols

Decision Timeline: Decisions regarding weather cancellations are made at least 4 hours before the charter is scheduled to set off.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Emergency Circumstances

We empathize that medical urgencies can arise. Situations that could be eligible for exceptional consideration include:

  • Unexpected illness or harm necessitating hospitalization
  • Demise of a close family member
  • Urgent military deployment or recall
  • Mandatory jury service or legal summons
  • Natural catastrophes impairing travel

Documentation Requirements

For processing requests under emergency circumstances, kindly submit:

  • Confirmation from a medical institution or hospital records
  • Death certificate (if it applies)
  • Official military directives
  • Legal summons or notification of required jury duty
  • Travel warnings or declarations of emergency

Processing: Emergency refund claims are handled within 3-5 working days upon receipt of appropriate confirmation.

Operational Cancellations

Mechanical Issues

If your designated boat encounters mechanical faults that are unsolvable:

  • Alternate Vessel: We will strive to supply an equivalent substitute
  • Full Refund: If a similar substitute is not accessible
  • Partial Refund: If the substitute boat has a different price rate
  • Compensation: Extra remuneration may be accorded for the trouble caused

Crew Unavailability

In exceptional instances when a certified crew is not available:

  • An alternate crew will be arranged if feasible
  • Complete reimbursement if the rental cannot proceed
  • Rescheduling options without additional costs

Refund Processing

Payment Method

Reimbursements are carried out using the same method of payment as the original booking:

  • Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days

Processing Fees

Credit Card Processing

€50 fee for cancellations more than 72 hours in advance

Bank Transfer Processing

€25 fee for all bank transfer refunds

International Processing

Extra fees may be necessary for international transactions

Charter Credits

When Credits Are Offered

Rental credits might be offered in lieu of refunds under certain situations:

  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours prior)
  • Cancellations due to weather
  • Voluntary changes to booking
  • Interruptions due to operational factors

Credit Terms

  • Validity: 12 months from the date of issuance
  • Transferability: Credits cannot be passed on to others
  • Value: Equal to the full cost of the charter without additional fees
  • Usage: Applicable towards any charter available
  • Expiration: Credits expire without extension after 12 months

Partial Service Refunds

Service Interruptions

If your rental is halted or reduced due to events within our dominion:

  • A refund proportional to the unutilized duration
  • A voucher for a future rental of identical value
  • Extra complimentary services or enhancements

Guest-Related Interruptions

If a rental is concluded in advance due to the misconduct of guests or breaches of safety rules:

  • No compensation for the remaining time
  • Full settlement is still required
  • Extra charges may be imposed

Dispute Resolution

If you contest a refund decision, you may:

  • Appeal for an assessment by our administrative team
  • Submit further documentation or substantiation
  • Search for a settlement through consumer protection entities
  • Opt for legal recourse as sanctioned by governing regulations

Step 3: Examination and Execution

Our staff will acknowledge your request within a day, assess it based on this policy, announce a decision in two days, and process sanctioned refunds within the allocated time periods.

Important Notes

  • All applications for reimbursements must be in written form
  • Refunds are carried out in € regardless of the currency used for the initial payment
  • We strongly advise purchasing travel insurance
  • This policy is amendable with a month's notice
  • Refunds are liable to applicable taxes and regulatory stipulations
